Core information areas covered within this archive.
Monocrystalline panels deliver the highest efficiency (20–24%) and suit limited roof areas. Polycrystalline models are cost-effective for larger surfaces. Thin-film variants work on non-standard substrates but show lower output per square metre.
A standard residential installation in Poland involves a structural roof assessment, system design by a licensed engineer, submission of connection application to the local DSO, and a grid inspection before commissioning.
The Mój Prąd 5.0 program covers up to 30% of installation costs (max PLN 6,000 for PV alone, up to PLN 58,000 for full energy packages). Applications are processed through the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
Annual inspections of mounting structures, inverter diagnostics, and panel surface cleaning are recommended. Automatic monitoring systems detect yield drops early and can reduce diagnostic time significantly.
